Marlotica was born on February 20th 1964 in Havana.

Pianist, graduated of the Havana Higher Insitute of Arts (ISA) he created in 1980 the Orchestra Esta Caña Brava.

He traveled and participated in many international tours: Mexico, Canada, France, Greece and with various orchestras like: Orchestra 440 of Cuba, Imagen Latina. He played with his great friend Juan de Marcos Gonzales, who took part in the movie Buena Vista Social Club…
